Success Beyond the Sidelines: The Pop Warner Little Scholar

At Cleveland Pop Warner, we believe that "student" always comes before "athlete." Whether our participants are wearing a helmet or a hair bow, we don't just cheer for touchdowns and high-scoring routines, we celebrate high GPAs.
As part of the Pop Warner Little Scholars philosophy, we actively monitor and honor the scholastic progress of every football player and cheerleader in our program.

How We Recognize Our Scholars:

-
Academic Achievement Awards: We proudly recognize football players and cheerleaders who maintain a 96% grade point average or higher, honoring the discipline it takes to balance practice with homework.
-
Regional & National Honors: Top-performing students are eligible for All-American Scholar consideration, earning certificates and accolades that celebrate them as the best and brightest in the nation.
-
A Foundation for the Future: For our older athletes, national Pop Warner honors can lead to scholarship opportunities, ensuring their hard work on the field and the mat translates into success in college and beyond.
We foster an environment where "hitting the books" is just as important as hitting the hole or hitting a stunt. By holding our athletes to a high academic standard, we ensure they are building the work ethic and character necessary to lead both in the game and in their communities.
